Things to Do in the California Chaparral
- Zip line across the shrubland country from mountaintop to the ground. Along the way you will see every kind of shrub and all organism and species native to its region. Come in the summer (it's nice and warm and never rains!)
- For those who like to roam and observe nature at it’s finest come along for our chaparral flower hunt. While following one of our trails stop, look, take pictures, and learn about what kinds of beautiful species lurk in this region of California (see video).
- Dress in your best camo, and bring those binoculars!! Lie down at the top of a chaparral mountain and observes the birds and animals that live in this habitat. You will see things from roadrunners to grey foxes; even exotic animals like the spotted skunk… but you want to don’t get too close to that one!
